Oskar Lewns - Economist
Oskar is an Economist at Alma Economics who is also pursuing a PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London under a collaboration between the university and Alma.
Oskar holds an MSc in Development Economics from the University of Sussex and completed his BA in Economics at the University of Cambridge. For his master's dissertation, he used vector autoregression models to investigate how futures trading affects commodity prices.
Outside of work, Oskar is known to be a literary enthusiast, devoting his time to both fiction and non-fiction. He currently divides his attention between Kazuo Ishiguro and David Graeber, having been engrossed in the latter's “The Dawn of Everything” for longer than he'd like to admit.
