Lucille McKnight - Economist

Lucille is an economist specialising in economic policy and development.

Prior to joining Alma, Lucille worked at the Chicago Justice Project as a Research and Legal Affairs Intern, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Dublin, Trinity College.

She holds an MSc in Economics of Public Policy from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and a BA in Philosophy, Politics, Economics & Sociology with Joint Honours in Economics & Political Science from the University of Dublin, Trinity College. Her thesis focussed on the role of extreme weather shocks on educational attainment.

In her free time, Lucille enjoys reading and painting. An avid Bob Ross fan, she keeps chancing upon “happy accidents” to avoid that 5K run she promised she would do.
