Independent review of children's social care in England

The independent review of children’s social care has appointed Alma Economics as its costings partner. We will lead work to estimate the cost of the current children’s care system, and costs and benefits of the review’s recommendations as they develop.

The Review represents a once in a generation opportunity to transform the children’s social care system and provide children with love, safety and stability. It was announced on 15th January 2021, with Josh MacAlister appointed as chair.
