Alisso Andrikopoulou - Social Researcher

Alisso is a social researcher at Alma with a background in cognitive psychology. Leveraging her skills in qualitative methods and experimental research, she aims to support vulnerable and disadvantaged groups through her work.

Before joining our team, Alisso interned as a cognitive psychology consultant in the Netherlands, using biomathematical models to advise on fatigue and safety in shift work. She has also worked as a volunteer with an Athens-based NGO that supports people at risk of drug, alcohol, and gambling addiction.

Alisso holds an MSc in Applied Cognitive Psychology from Utrecht University. For her master’s thesis, she conducted a virtual reality experiment to determine crucial design parameters for artificial prosthetic vision implants, contributing to solutions for people who are visually impaired. She also has a BSc in Psychology from Panteion University in Athens.

Aside from psychology and social science, Alisso loves culture and art – photography in particular. She can often be found with her camera in hand, trying to capture the beauty she believes exists in everything.
