Dr Diogo Alves - Senior Economist
Diogo is a Senior Economist at Alma with an affinity for using mathematics to solve interesting social and industrial problems. His main interests lie in economic complexity, the coordination problem, and Netlogo deployment and innovative uses.
Prior to joining Alma, he worked as an economic consultant on issues ranging from labour market policy to sentiment analysis. Previously, he worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Essex and at Minho University, Guimarães, Portugal, in projects ranging from applications of operational research to economic forecasting.
