We supported the Ministry of Justice in designing a transparent, robust methodology for a review of the literature about the impact of harm and parental involvement on child welfare.
The research looked for evidence about how parental harms and other adverse childhood experiences affect child welfare, how variations in parental involvement influence children’s outcomes, and what approaches effectively identify, assess, and support safe parental involvement aligned with children’s needs and wishes.
Alma Economics contributed to this report’s methodological underpinnings such as the research protocol, the quality assurance framework, as well as the selection and evaluation of the evidence presented.
