Data hubs and dashboards
We developed an easy-to-use tool to support researchers in organising the evidence base for any research question. The tool visualises the gaps in previous research in a clear and intuitive manner, while also allowing users to explore the available literature based on user-defined characteristics and filters.
Interactive Theory of Change
We deliver evaluations assessing the design, implementation and outcomes of public policies and programmes. Through our work delivering ‘theory of change’ (TOC) analysis, we routinely see complex relationships between activities, outcomes and impacts. Static TOCs cannot incorporate this complexity. We saw an opportunity to develop software that was interactive and easy to use, allowing users to dynamically explore complex impact paths.
Pan-London Homeless Substance Misuse Programme
A fully interactive service directory and research hub with digital tools to support those sleeping rough and using substances in London, making data more accessible to both service providers and users.
Social Care Wales data portal
Social Care Wales asked us to develop a proof-of-concept for a data portal enabling users to explore the number of children looked after across local authorities in Wales and the impact of changes to children’s social care policies. Through the portal, local authorities can also generate forecasts and benchmark performance.
Postal delivery prices in Scotland
An end-to-end data pipeline that automatically collects price data from postal delivery operators, then cleans and formats the data before feeding it into a transparency-focused data hub. Our parcel delivery data hub compiles live delivery prices from several operators for each postcode in Scotland, while also providing a benchmark based on true delivery costs to identify instances of unfair pricing.
