Panos recently joined Alma’s commercial team, bringing nearly two decades of experience in management consulting.
In previous roles, he worked on international tendering, procurement processes and proposal preparation for Technical Assistance projects financed by the European Commission and International Financing Institutions (EIB, World Bank, EBRD).
He has been actively involved in the coordination/management of EU, EIB, and EBRD-funded Framework Contracts/Agreements with cumulative budgets exceeding €200 million, as Framework Contracts Manager. He has achieved contractual and financial targets across sectors such as Transport & Infrastructures, Telecommunications and Information Technologies, Sustainable Energy, Innovation and Education.
As Project Director, Panos has successfully coordinated multidisciplinary teams of experts across diverse geographical and institutional contexts and managed dozens of donor-funded projects in over 20 countries (Africa, Eastern Europe, the Balkans, and the EU).
He holds a BSc in Computer Systems/Networks & Telecommunications from City University of Seattle, USA, as well as a certificate in Project Management.
Panos maintains a suitably composed and professional exterior, underpinned by a thoroughly unapologetic fondness for metal music and operatic tendencies. He remains unconvinced that important messages should ever be delivered quietly or in under three acts.
