Alex Quattrone

Senior Social Researcher

Alex is a Senior Social Researcher at Alma with experience as a participation specialist, and social innovator.

He is passionate about helping communities come together, harnessing their lived experience to shape the issues, policies, and services that matter to them. Alex is skilled in designing and delivering participation and research projects, drawing on participation strategy, co-production, ethnography, and innovation practice.

He has applied these skills across a ten-year career in leading participation and research organisations, including the London Borough of Camden Participation Team, the New Citizen Project, and Neighbourly Lab. He has led work across a range of topics, including climate change, young people, migration, economic development, regeneration, and housing.

Alex holds an MSc in Urban Regeneration and a BSc in Urban Planning and Design (First-Class Honours), both from University College London. He also completed the Social Innovation Fellowship at Year Here.

Alex is part of a youth running charity club, and he recently ran a trail race in the Alps. He is also an improv comedian in the making, likes going to alternative, rock, and indie gigs and festivals. Finally, Alex loves travelling to places where he can surf and scuba dive.
