Aba is a Communications Manager at Alma with over eight years of experience in communications, events management, and brand strategy.
In her previous role at Neighbourly Lab, she oversaw all communications and directed a full rebrand to strengthen the organisation’s digital presence and improve accessibility. Aba also secured partnerships with high-profile institutions, including Microsoft and Transport for London, and grew the organisation’s LinkedIn account organically by 317% in two years.
While at Neighbourly Lab, she held a role as a community manager at the Tackling Loneliness Hub (DCMS), where she represented the hub at parliamentary APPGs and high-level stakeholder forums.
Aba holds a BA in Music and Media Management from the London Metropolitan University and has started her own project, ‘Who We Are: The Art of Connection’—a multidisciplinary, storytelling project consisting of a docuseries, blog, and podcast. Using art forms such as film, literature, music, architecture and more, it explores British identity and celebrates the diverse voices and cultural contributions that connect communities across the UK and globally.
Aba also volunteers as a Communications Adviser for Craic Health, a dedicated hub to establish comedy as a recognised format within creative health and social prescribing.
